Print manager uses CoreAssetManager to produce live ID cards
November 2009
PSL Print Management in Preston has extended its use of Vpress's Coreprint online print management system to include CoreAssetManager for live production of identity cards for its major client, Rentokil.
PSL stores relevant images and data within the digital asset management module, and this enables the client to maintain a central record as well as standardise the format and appearance of the cards.
PSL has ten clients using Coreprint, and IT manager Frank Hunt said that clients had benefited from the decentralisation of business card and stationery ordering, "which has enabled them to re-allocate staff to other tasks, thereby improving efficiencies." The company has linked Coreprint into its own MIS, which Hunt said had generated "a significant administrative saving for us."
